The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. sassa The service point produced for intervention experiences a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
